January 6, 2021 is a date that will live in infamy.

Domestic terrorists and insurrectionists provoked, encouraged, and coordinated by Donald Trump set to stage a coup against the United States by invading and occupying the United States Capitol Building as Congress was engaged in its Constitutional duty of certifying the 2020 election results in favor of President-elect Biden.

While the insurrection was swiftly quelled, the lasting damage of the images of America as a banana republic will live on forever. But where do we go from here?

With two weeks lefts before Biden is sworn in as President, if Trump is not held accountable, he will continue to provoke terrorism and insurrection against our country. Trump’s seditious behavior is certainly a “high crime and misdemeanor” and subject to impeachment and conviction. We must impeach or invoke the 25th Amendment now and convict Trump immediately!
