Congressman Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, took to the floor of the House of Representatives to support the Heroes Act which passed by a vote of 208-199.
Congressman Ryan’s speech was a brilliant and passionate defense of America’s true heroes, its working class, and the need to prioritize legislation and policies that help workers instead of billionaires.
Congressman Ryan’s speech noted that when the economy was doing well, the Republicans rushed through massive tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires. When the global pandemic hit, once again, Republicans prioritized legislation that bailed out those same millionaires and billionaires. Now, President Trump and the Republicans in power claim that there just isn’t enough money to help workers. Representative Ryan calls BS and WE ALL SHOULD AS WELL!!!
